Full Moon in Aquarius Harvest
Updated Pictures: August 11th
Come on in and take a peek!
Elves Sunflowers.
Early Girl.
S.F. Fog
Petunias, Tomatoes, Marigolds, Black Beauty Eggplant, Echinacea, Lavender, Cosmos, Giant Zinnias, Pineapple Sage, Milk Weed and more...
I took out the Fox Glove and Chocolate Cosmo in this area. It needed to be cleaned out and weeded due to slugs and snails that like to hide under the Silver Sage. Our Turkish Eggplant is producing tons and we just had them grilled for the first time. They were a bit more bitter than Japanese, but not bad. And such a fun color and shape on the plate! If you look to the far, upper right corner their is a Red Velvet Sunflower coming!
Four Pumpkins! Our fifth pumpkin is ripening at home after falling off early.
Giant Zinnias and Lebanese Summer Squash.
I harvested my Japanese Cucumbers due to aphids. Also, the plants had already produced quite a bit of fruit and it was time for them to rest.
I deadheaded all of the mildewed leaves in order to save the fruit and Lebanese Summer Squash, as well as control the issue.
